The nominees for the 2010 UK Asian Music Awards were announced in Birmingham on 2nd February at the Gatecrasher Nightclub at a special party. Outlandish is nominated in "Best International Act" and "Best International Album" categories.

Denmark embassy will organize a panel discussion attended by Outlandish, Bosnian youth and young musicians from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The discussion will deal with questions about democracy and how young people can influence politics and decisions in their own society.

This discussion will take place at the café in Kamerni Teatar, 8 February from 11:00-13:00 and will be led by the prominent youth representative Dzenana Ibisevic, currently employed in the Ministry of Culture and Sport. Ms. Ibisevic was spokesman for the Commission for Coordination of Youth in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2006-2008 and has extensive experience in PR, media and communications.

Discussion panel will consist of members Outlandish Isam Bachiri, Lenny Martinez and Waqas Ali Qadri, and the young Bosnian artist Dino Sukalo and Amira Medunjanin. The audience will consist of active members of youth groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina, youth political parties and representatives from one of leavers at Gimnasija Obala.

A film crew from 'Forbidden Forum', 'Pink BH TV' and journalists from the EFM will be present and excerpts from the debate will be shown on local television.

Yesterday, Outlandish gave a concert at the event named “Danmarks Indsamling 2010″ which aims to collect money for earthquake victims in Haiti and to ensure women in Africa a better future. The concert took place at Danish Radio P3’s studios. You can listen/download mp3 of the whole concert here:

The Aicha for Haiti auction is airbourne!!!!! Get your hands on Waqas's green hoodie and Isam's white scarf which they had on in the Aicha video. The auction will run on ebay.com till saturday 2 o'clock. The money will go to the brilliant humanitarian relief work of Dan Church Aid in Haiti. Here are the links:

Denmark's greatest singers united to support the victims of the Haiti earthquake. Along Isam B, Sys Bjerre, Thomas Buttenschøn, Infernal, Karen, Medina, Nabiha, Rasmus Nøhr, Szhirley, Sukkerchok, ABC, Basim, Ida Corr, Thomas Holm and many more famous danish artists came together for this project and the song "Skrøbeligt Fundament" is recorded. You can listen to the song here:

The song will be released by Universal Music and will be available to download from online music stores in a few days. The music video for the song is on the way.

Isam Bachiri performed last week at the RIS 8th Convention in Toronto, Canada. We currently can't find any videos for you to watch, but luckily one of OL's biggest fans was there and recorded this 20 min. audio clip for you to enjoy!

Denmark’s most international group Outlandish gave a concert this morning at Hopenhagen LIVE which is an event to give Hope that in Copenhagen this December (during the United Nations Climate Change Conference) we can build a better future for our planet.
