Outlandish on BBC Asian Network

For those of you who missed the live interview and performance Outland did with BBC Asian Network as Noreen's Eid Party special guest, you still have a chance to listen to the program by clicking the following link:

During the interview the band and backing vocalist/guitarist Jonas performed acoustic versions of 3 of their songs; Let Off Some Steam, I Only Ask Of God and Feels Like Saving The World.

Also the program was an opportunity for many fans to speak to Outlandish, ask question and even request special shout outs or performances.

Outlandish on 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'
Outlandish members Isam, Lenny and Waqas were contestants on television quiz show  "Hvem vil være millionær?"  the danish version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? The guys participation was for charitable purposes.

Feels Like Saving The World Enters Tracklisten Top-40
"Feels Like Saving The World" the second single from Sound of a Rebel album made its debut this week at number 40 in "Tracklisten" the official Top 40 Singles chart in Denmark.

The single will likely continue to climb the charts if you continue your support and downloaded the mp3 on iTunes

1)Outlandish gonna shoot a video for their second single Feels Like Saving the World on 19th September, it's gonna be really wet!!! haha. 

Get ready Dubai!!! Outland is coming for real this time in the beginning of November to Dubai Sound City Festival! Details coming soon!

Waqas's Teri Yaad is nominated as the best song of the month on desihiphop4life, cast your vote people!

Watch Outlandish talking about their performance at "Concert for Pakistan" which is recently took place in UN General Assembly Hall, New York with Angelia Jolie's and Sting's attandance. The show is named Aftenshowet and broadcasted by Danish TV DR1.

Outlandish made it into the Top 5 for MTV EMAs Best Danish Act!
Yas moros! Congragulations! With your massive help, Outlandish made it into the top 5 names for the Best Danish Act award. But we are not there yet, a new poll is opened for the Top 5 names and you can vote as many times as you want until 11th October. Here is the link:


Choose "Best Danish Act", find Outlandish, just on the right side of Outlandish find "Stem" box and click on "Stem". (Refresh the page if you can't see the "Stem" box.)

Go ahead moros, let's show them all what moro power can do! Vote everyday, again and again until you don't feel your fingers! :)

The winner of the Best Danish Act will be published on Monday, 12th October. After that, winners from all European countries will compete against each other for the "Best European Act" award.

The winner for "Best European Act" will be revealed live at MTV EMAs '09, which will be broadcasted live from the O2 World in Berlin on Thursday 5 November.

On the 12th of September, Outlandish will be performing in the UN assembly hall in New York along with the world famous Pakistani group Junoon amongst others in responding to the humanitarian crisis in Pakistan.

Outlandish gives concert to support Iraqi Refugees
