Today Outlandish visited Musik Nu, a popular music program broadcasted weekly on radio P3's.
Check out our Radio Interviews page for the complete (24 min) danish interview in which the guys introduced two of their new songs ("Feels Like Saving The World" & "Amen")
-edit: Amen's sample is now available on our online player
Quick translation of the interview (many thanks to our moro Amina)
What they were talking about was: Before they released this album, each one had something in their heart. Something that didn't felt good. They wanted a break from each other. Cause if you don't change something in your life, you'll always be in the same place. So they did. Each one went their own way. Isam made a solo album and so did Waqas. Lenny...? He just took all his thoughts and threw them away. He wanted to rest a little bit. Isam travelled some etc.
But then they pulled themselves together. This album had to be something good. And they all wanted something new and different, like everyone was against and with. Remember guys? When many fans on this site said: 'This is not them. It sucks...or: 'I like it. It's different, but good'. Well fans, they did it with purpes. If they had to take that break, they also had to come with something new. They didn't wanted a break, so they could get inspiration or something. No. It's like when you're sitting in the classroom and suddenly you feel like you want som air and go out and breath, then return fresh again. But after that, they said that they have known each other for 15 years and that's a lot of years, yeah. But they are more than just family. They are more than family. They are brothers and don't see each other as friends anymore. You know, when friends see each other, they hug and kiss, and say how are you, and trying to tread each other in the nicest way. But they don't. They are brothers and will always be. Then there is something with, what make them mad mostly. Isam said that the thing that makes him angry is, when they're in a live show and Waqas and Lenny start to sing in choir. Isam just think: You dear not to sing with me. I'm telling you'. Hahahaha. That was funny when he said it. Cause he's already told them before they got on stage that they shouldn't. Hehe. Well, some brotherhood they have. And when they get angry they talk with each other after 2 minutes. Anyway, the talked a little bit about their album. The song named 'feeling like saving the world' is about a relationship between a man and women, that when their day start in a good way, it's like saving the world, you know. And if starts as crap, then it's not something good. And that's normally how a relationship between a women and a man is. Sometimes ot's bad and sometimes...yeah...it just feels like saving the world.
And the songs that most of all remind of what they've ben through is 'Ameen. And guys, as you all know, the album will be out the 11th of May 2009 of course
